I’m sure you’ve always wondered, maybe even been longing, to know how to make your own DIY Faux Chocolate Bunny, so here it is!
I found this super cute terra-cotta bunny at a thrift store like six months ago.Originally I planned to paint the whole thing gold. Shocking, I know. But then, something happened that can only be explained as divine intervention… the foot broke off.Image may be NSFW.

It wasn’t a clean break either. It basically crumbled. At first I was pretty bummed, so naturally, my first thought was chocolate. Chocolate to drown my sorrows, AND THEN it hit me… I’ll make a “chocolate” bunny! And the broken foot will be perfectly fitting, right?! Like someone took abite! Who wants a gold bunny anyway? But chocolate bunnies…so hot right now.
So, I got some paint. Rustoleum of course. (Note: This kind does take a little longer to dry than the paint and primer one that I usually use.)Image may be NSFW.

I used about 3 coats, but the first coat was really thin.
